Town & Country Property has been part of Pattaya since 2003. But our story has never been only about selling property.

It has also been about building businesses, developing homes, connecting people, supporting the community and staying involved for the long term.

Markets rise and fall. Developers come and go. Regulations change, technology changes and clients become better informed. Town & Country Property has lived through all of it.

My own working life in Thailand started in 1997, giving us more than 25 years of business experience in Thailand, including more than 23 years directly involved in Pattaya property.

Not from a textbook. From experience.

More than brokers

Town & Country Property has never been simply an estate agency.

Over the years we have been involved as developer and co-developer in residential projects including The Meadows, Whispering Palms and The Residence Jomtien, representing more than 125 completed homes and residences.

That experience matters. When you have developed property yourself, you learn to look at land differently. You understand construction, infrastructure, planning, budgets, buyers, resale value and the thousand small things that can turn a good-looking project into either a success or a headache.

It is also why, after all these years, we are comfortable telling a client when not to buy something.

Long-term relationships with Thailand’s business community

We have always believed that property is a people business. That philosophy also explains our long association with two of Thailand’s established international business chambers.

The Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce officially recognises me as a Lifetime NTCC Member. In April 2026, NTCC invited me as guest speaker at its Vrijmibo event to share some of what I had learned from building a career and business in Thailand. NTCC event reference.

Town & Country Property is also a long-standing member of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand, with BCCT’s own company directory recording our membership since 2009. BCCT company profile.

These memberships are not decorations for the office wall. For us they represent something much more valuable: relationships built over many years with business owners, investors, developers, professionals and people who have helped shape Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard.

Movers & Shakers: connecting people and building community

In 2009 I started Movers & Shakers Thailand.

The idea was simple: bring interesting people together in a good venue, remove some of the stiffness of traditional business networking, create opportunities for people to meet each other and use the events to do some good at the same time.

It worked.

Movers & Shakers became one of the Eastern Seaboard’s best-known corporate networking platforms. Pattaya Mail once described it as Pattaya’s biggest networking event, and later events attracted hundreds of businesspeople in Pattaya and Bangkok. Pattaya Mail archive.

Across its history, Movers & Shakers has hosted more than 60 events, welcomed around 15,000 guests and raised more than THB 4 million for local charities.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

Businesses were introduced. Friendships started. Deals happened. People who had just arrived in Thailand suddenly knew somebody.

A business community became a little more connected.

That, to me, is real CSR. Not simply handing over a cheque for a photograph, but using your network to create something that continues to benefit people.

Recognition along the way

We never built Town & Country Property for awards. But recognition along the way has been appreciated.

Town & Country Property received repeated recognition at the Thailand Property Awards, including being named Highly Commended, Best Residential Agent – Eastern Seaboard in 2013. Thailand Property Awards 2013.

In 2014 I received an Expat Entrepreneur Award in the property category. In 2015 came the Best SME Entrepreneur Thailand recognition from the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce. In 2022 I was selected as a finalist for the Corporate Social Responsibility Special Award at the BCCT King Power Thailand International Business Awards.

Awards are nice. What matters more is what sits behind them: consistency, reputation, community involvement and the ability to still be useful to clients many years later.

Still active. Still growing.

Experience only means something if you continue to use it.

Today, Town & Country Property remains actively involved in some of the Eastern Seaboard’s most interesting residential opportunities.

In Bangsaray, we are closely involved with Sunplay, one of the region’s established upscale residential communities, where Town & Country Property acts as a property consultant, advisor and principal sales agent. It is exactly the kind of project where our background in development, land, residential sales and long-term client relationships comes together.

And in 2026 we took another step forward with the opening of our Ocean Marina Coastal Property Outlet at Ocean Marina Jomtien.

It is not a traditional branch office. It is a strategic presence in one of the Eastern Seaboard’s most important coastal communities, connecting our Pattaya, Jomtien and Bangsaray activities and bringing us closer to owners, buyers, investors and the marina community.

After more than two decades, we are not winding down.

We are still investing, still expanding and still looking ahead.

Staying power matters

There are plenty of excellent new agencies in Pattaya today. There are also plenty of people who arrived last year and suddenly became property experts.

Everybody has to start somewhere.

But experience cannot be downloaded.

It comes from seeing good markets and bad markets. Successful developments and unsuccessful ones. Great deals and deals that should never have happened. Political changes, financial crises, ownership debates, COVID, new infrastructure, new generations of buyers and the extraordinary transformation of Pattaya itself.

We have been here for all of it.

And we are still learning.

Leadership is not shouting the loudest

I do not think leadership means telling everybody you are number one.

Leadership is more quietly demonstrated.

Stay involved. Share what you know. Support the community. Introduce people. Give honest advice. Admit when you do not know something. And still be there many years later when your clients come back.

That is the Town & Country Property story.

Founded in Pattaya in 2003.
More than 25 years of business experience in Thailand.
Lifetime membership of NTCC.
BCCT member company since 2009.
More than 60 Movers & Shakers events.
Around 15,000 guests connected.
More than THB 4 million raised for charity.
Multiple national and industry awards and recognitions.
Active today at Sunplay Bangsaray and Ocean Marina Jomtien.

But perhaps the achievement we value most is considerably simpler.

We are still here.

And we are not finished yet.
